Joint Wireless and Edge Computing Resource Management With Dynamic Network Slice Selection

Network slicing is a promising approach for enabling low latency computation offloading in edge computing systems. In this paper, we consider an system under network which the wireless devices generate sensitive computational tasks. We address problem of joint dynamic assignment tasks to slices, management radio resources across slices and within slices. formulate Joint Slice Selection Edge Resource Management (JSS-ERM) as mixed-integer with objective minimize completion time show that JSS-ERM NP-hard develop approximation algorithm bounded ratio based on game theoretic treatment problem. use extensive simulations provide insight into performance proposed solution from perspective whole individual Our results policy can achieve significant gains compared equal policy, complexity task placement approximately linear number devices.
